Failure can be a great motivator, but sometimes it becomes an obstacle on our path to victory. It generates doubts, feelings of insecurity, and limits us from seeing beyond our own person purpose.
The Lighthouse Resource Center had the opportunity to hold a second graduation from the “Level System.” This “Level System” is a program available in the Lighthouse to our clients who desire to commit to a process of change and growth focused on their own individual goals. Our clients come from very unique circumstances so progress forward looks different in each case. Our team works to help each client make goals and work on a plan. When they finish moving through the levels and steps of their plans, they are ready to graduate. Nine people made the decision to begin this individual process and we were able to accompany them during their season in the Lighthouse Resource Center.

Our team was about to celebrate many joys, achievements, and victories. But they accompanied them in the sadness and pain that are also part of the process.
It is always right to say that he who does not make mistakes, who does not experience a failure or suffer a fall; is not completely prepared for success. Without failure, one is much less ready to overcome adversities, meet challenges and of course to give lessons to others.
“Those who plant in tears will harvest with shouts of joy. They weep as they go to plant their seed, but they sing as they return with the harvest.” Psalm 125:5-6 NLT

Rosa Argueta, a graduate of the first “class” who completed the Level System several years ago, gave words of encouragement to these graduates of the second generation. She said, “We cannot give up. Constantly touching base is what will help us to be able to identify those things that we need to modify or change and to be aware that are in a continuous process of change, transformation, and unfinished work. We still have a lot to give and we are able to impact others.”
Thank you to all of the churches, organizations and individual people who are part of this work called Mission To El Salvador. This achievement is thanks to you for believing that we can continue to impact the lives of other Salvadorans. Thank you for carrying us in your prayers and for being used to encourage all of those who need it.
