Our Strategy:
Instead of giving hand-outs and creating dependency, our strategy is to identify assets and potential so that we can empower members of our community toward healing from trauma and recovery from addiction and exploitation. We work to create opportunities for social support, dignifying work, spiritual growth and the chance to dream about a new future where everyone can find freedom to grow.Â
Our programs and projects are vehicles to fulfill our mission by creating sustainable solutions for spiritual development and the addressing of all spiritual, physical, emotional, social and mental needs of those most vulnerable to the defeating consequences of poverty, addiction, and exploitation in El Salvador.Â
Our strategy is to meet the needs of survivors of human trafficking, exploitation and violence, individuals facing homelessness and extreme poverty, those who have been abandoned, those who have returned to El Salvador, and adults and teenagers on a journey toward recovery from addiction and substance abuse.Â

We value love, dignity, and respect and we are committed to seeing these values thrive in our community. We believe that as we work to develop these values on our team and in our community, we are all mutually transformed.
LOVE
Love for God and love for others is a call that we are striving to fulfill as we love our neighbors and reach out to those who are on the margins of our community.
DIGNITY
Dignity is present in every human life as every person bears the image of God. We believe in empowering everyone we serve by providing tools, opportunities for dignifying work, and quality programs and services.
RESPECT
Respect along the journey is a value that we extend to everyone who enters our doors. We respect that each person is on their own journey toward healing, and we honor their choices, agency, and active participation along the way.
Our Beliefs
We are Faith and Relationally Based with a Foundation to Build On
- We believe in one God, who exist the three persons of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. God is perfect, holy, just, sovereign, and gracious.
- We believe that the Bible is the Word of God, divinely and perfectly inspired by God to give His truth to humanity.
- We believe that humanity was created in God’s image and designed to have a personal relationship with Him, but through sin that relationship has been broken.
- We believe that because we are unable to save ourselves from sin; God, in His grace, initiated salvation by sending His Son to reconcile us to the Father through death and He works in us through His Spirit to call us into relationship with Him.
- We believe that Jesus is fully God and fully man and that He died for our sins and rose again from the dead.
- We believe that God has called His people into community, expressed through His Church.
- We believe that God equips His followers by indwelling them with the Holy Spirit, and by giving them gifts to glorify Him, edify the Church, and expand His Kingdom.
- We believe that God has called His followers to work in all spheres of society to reconcile a broken and hurting world to Him.
- We believe that the Gospel has implications for all parts of our lives, and that all our efforts to reach and serve those who are hurting need to be centered on the news that Jesus Christ redeems us out of our sin and into a relationship with our Father.
